§ 56-74. Same—Fee; waiver; supervision of connection.

(a)

No connection with the sanitary sewers of the city shall be made until payment of such fee as the city commission by resolution establishes. The applicant for the building sewer permit shall notify the city manager or his designee when the building sewer is ready for connection to the public sewer. The connection shall be made under the supervision of the city manager or his designee.

(b)

Whenever the city undertakes the replacement of a public sanitary sewer and mandates the renewal or replacement of any connection to the public sanitary sewer, such fees shall be waived; however all connections shall be inspected as provided above.
