§ 16-7. Transfer of burial rights.

Any person desiring to transfer burial rights in any lot may do so by delivering to the city clerk his cemetery certificate and an assignment of his rights on such form as the city clerk may provide. No transfer of rights shall be effective until delivery of the assignment to the city clerk. Upon receipt of the cemetery certificate and assignment, the city clerk shall issue a new cemetery certificate to the assignee.
