Article II. LICENSE |
§ 6-40. Denial.
No application for a license to sell beer, wine or alcoholic liquors shall be approved:
(1)
From any person owing any personal taxes to the city or who makes use of or contemplates using any personal property upon which is owed any personal property taxes;
(2)
From any person owing any delinquent water rates to the city or for any location that is impressed with a lien for delinquent water rates;
(3)
For any location where the proposed use will constitute a traffic hazard;
(4)
Except upon certification of the police chief that the applicant is in compliance with this section.
