§ 54-2. Traffic near schools.

  • Whenever, after investigation, the traffic engineer determines that, because of traffic congestion or other conditions endangering the safety of school children within one block of any school building, traffic or parking regulations or both are needed to eliminate such dangerous conditions, he may cause signs to be erected indicating such traffic-control or parking regulation during school hours as may be necessary. It is unlawful for any person to disobey such signs.
