§ 48-56. Temporary street and alley closings.

The city commission may, by resolution, authorize the nonemergency closing of streets and alleys under its control. The closing shall be for a temporary period, the time thereof to be specified in the resolution, and shall be authorized only when the closing will promote public safety or facilitate a project or program which is city-wide in scope and benefit.
