§ 26-20. Enforcement by city manager.

  • (a)

    Authorization. The city manager hereby is authorized and directed to enforce all the provisions of this article and all other ordinances of the city now in force or hereafter adopted, relating to zoning, subdivision or building codes.

    (b)

    Appointment; term; absence. The city manager shall be appointed to these additional responsibilities by resolution of the city commission, and his appointment shall continue for an indefinite term. During temporary absences or disability of the city manager, he shall, by letter filed with the city clerk, designate, subject to the approval of the commission, a qualified city administrative officer to exercise the powers and duties of manager.
