§ 24-21. Powers and duties of chief.

The fire chief is charged with the prevention of fires and the protection of life and property against fire, and shall:
(1)

Report all fire losses over $100.00 to the city manager and city assessor;

(2)

Be responsible for the maintenance and care of all property and equipment used by the fire department.
