§ 24-2. Prohibition of use of consumer fireworks.

No person shall ignite, discharge or use consumer fireworks within the City of Alma between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the day preceding, the day of, or the day after a national holiday consistent with Public Act 65 of 2013. For purposes of this section, federal holidays are: New Year's Day, Birthday of Martin Luther King Jr., Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
