§ 12-89. Inspection by building official.

The building official shall examine or cause to be examined every building or structure or portion thereof reported as unsafe or damaged, and if such is found to be a dangerous building, as defined in this article, he shall commence proceedings to cause the repair, rehabilitation, demolition or removal of the building or structure.
